What's Happenin?
I haven't put up a blog in awhile, my apologies for that. I usually put up my top downloads for the month (April) but CDBaby has things screwed up right now. So I am working through this mess to get all that right. You have to spend a lot of energy in life making sure things are done right on a variety of issues. What I have been doing mostly the past month is working on promotion of my music. I am a small fish in a big pond, but I have good songs and I just try to get people's attention. Once people really listen to my songs, almost everyone likes and enjoys them. Over the years, I have put a lot of work into writing and recording them and producing them. Feel free to share my music with your friends or anyone else you thing might like my stuff. You are my little army of loyal supporters. I appreciate you.
Someone has been listening to my music for quite awhile and they wrote this about my style:
The Human Project is the musical brainchild of Loyd Vandergriff, delivering original hot blues and smokin rock straight out of Central California. His influences come from many sources over many years of listening and playing music. With gritty vocals and lyrics rooted in life's real edges, The Human Project blends vintage blues-rock energy with a modern punch. From bar room burners like Bar Room Meltdown to the smoldering Stormy Night in Texas, The Human channels the spirit of classic roadhouse rock with a storyteller's soul. It's not just music-it's a vibe, a message and a mission. He really is a diamond in the rough just looking to be found.
Here are a few promotional images I have been using in many of my social media sites. I used an AI program to generate these, I know this approach comes with limitations, but I like some of them, so I use them.

This is what the stage would look like if I showed up live, but I would add a Hammond B3 organ into this mix.

AI created image. Again, it has it limitations and can get a little trippy, but I use some of them.
Thanks for reading the blog. Again, feel free to share my music with others. It's a grassroots effort and you are part of it. I don't have anyone on a professional level helping me with promotion at all.
Thanks and keep it Rockin…Human Style!
PS, there should be a track for you to listen too, maybe even download it for free. 57 channels by Bruce Springsteen. Enjoy!
