Greetings friends and fans of Human Project Music. April was yet another good month for sales/downloads of my music. I had 490 Downloads from well over 30 countries. There were a few surprises that slipped into the top 10, which is always kind of exciting. Here ya go with the top 10 downloads…(Actually 11 this time)

Politics 2022 and Call Me The Breeze are newcomers in the top 10. I wrote all of the songs except “Call Me The Breeze, ” which was written by JJ Cale.

All of these songs are available on one of my Essential Human Project releases. If you look up at the top tool bar, you can see a tab for all of these Essential Releases.  Click on that and it will take you to each of them to download what you want. 

The top countries that downloaded were as follows:

On the new music front, I just re-released Bad Momma 3 weeks ago, and it did climb all the way up to #12 on my downloads, but it has yet to really work itself into the system yet.

My song that I just recently wrote, “Born In Mississippi,” will release on May 22nd on all music platforms! I will keep you posted as this release date draws closer.

Greetings friends and fans. I have a few updates for you regarding my music. (Human Project Music.)

Most of you know that “Bad Momma,” has released.  It was originally on Human Project II, Humanized released in 2008. I felt like it didn't get the exposure it needed, so I re-released it.  It does really rock and was mastered at Sterling Sound in NYC by Steve Fallone.  The Link it below..Easy to get, just click the link.

Finally… I recently wrote a song called, “Born in Mississippi,” and will release it next month around the middle to the end of May. It's a sparse acoustic driven song about sharecropping and Jim Crow laws in Mississippi, but of course many other states had these same laws as well.  The track features a smoking guitar solo by AC Myles of Fresno, CA.  It has a cool vibe to it and I look forward to putting it out there so you can hear it!

March was an awesome month for Human Project Downloads!  450 from over 25 different countries!  Mercy! And…the cream of my songs is starting to rise to the top!  Very happy Human!  Here are the top 10 downloads for March.

Of these top 10, I wrote 9 of them.  “Norwegian Wood” is a Lennon/McCartney composition off their album Rubber Soul.  A big large percentage came from my first Essential Human Project release 2005-2023. At the time, I actually thought it was going to be the only one I would do.  But as you well know, this was not the case. I had too many good songs left, so I just had to put out two more.  You can get any of them at the top of my website here, under Essential Human Project releases in the top bar at the top.

And…some of you are well aware that I finally wrote another song after a long lay-off. It's called “Born In Mississippi.” I recorded it in my home studio and played all the instruments. But I got my friend AC Myles to lay down a hot lead guitar track. It's bad ass! Look for it in mid-May!  I will keep you posted my friends!

I have recorded many songs on this Boss BR 1600, including "Born In Mississippi.

After a very long hiatus, I wrote a new song called, “Born In Mississippi.”  It is all about what Sharecropping was like on the farms in Mississippi after the Civil War.  This is just a snippet from the song. It will be released later this spring.  Enjoy.

Well…Another very strong month for Human Project Sales, with close to 500 Downloads being sold from close to 50 countries, but the core of the purchases came from around 10 countries. The cream continues to rise to the top, which is encouraging because this indicates that people are continuing to find my music and dig even deeper into it.  We had some interesting songs show up in the top 10, so here we go…with the top 10!

I wrote all of these, except:  Norwegian Wood (Lennon-McCartney) and Not Fade Away (Buddy Holly)
It is interesting to see “Norwegian Wood” make its way up to #4 after a long absence from the top 10. I always felt this version was very good. Very sparse, with a cool mandolin taking the place of a Sitar that George Harrison used.

I am very encouraged that my music still sells likes this. I haven't put anything new out in sometime. But there is plenty out there for people to find, and plenty more people that haven't even discovered it yet.
